There are lots of reasons to shop at Sami Fine Jewelry, anyone can tell you that. But, rumor has it, we are not the jewelry store for everyone! We are different from mall jewelers, and we know it. Read on to find out why you shouldn’t shop at Sami’s… And what to expect when you do!
We Get Personal
Located in Fountain Hills, we are at the heart of a small community. We’ve been here for over 20 years. We will treat you like a neighbor, whether it’s your first time in or your 50th. We’re going to want to get to know you, ask about your family, and insist that you bring your dog by for a treat! (No really, please let us meet your dog!) We host events that the whole town seems to show up for, and always get involved with local charities and fundraisers. This isn’t just a store, it’s a community hub that everyone belongs in. We are people-pleasers who just happen to love all things sparkly. We want to share that love with you, even if you just need a simple repair. If you prefer your jewelry stores to feel pretentious, where the items are meant to be seen and not tried on and people speak in hushed tones… Walking into Sami’s will be a shock! We’re not jewelers who will ignore you unless you come in to buy something. We want to know your birthday, your anniversary, and that funny story you heard over dinner last week.
We’re a Little Rough Around the Edges
Most jewelry stores insist on only showing clients their seemingly-flawless diamonds and gems, far removed from the state they were in when Mother Nature created them. We embrace the dirt! We think the whole process of jewelry creation, even the part that takes place deep below the Earth, is fun and fascinating. Of course, we have thousands of pieces of beautifully finished jewelry to admire, but we like pulling back the curtain, too. We’re not afraid to show you rough gems - especially from the Four Peaks Amethyst Mine - so we can appreciate the whole process together.
We Can Be Know-It-Alls
We’re proud of our accomplishments and education. The staff here at Sami’s has spent years becoming educated in our trade, and we want to pass that on to you. However, if you’re looking for someone to give you a rehearsed lecture about the Four C’s, this isn’t the place. We want to break things down in ways that are easy to understand, so you don’t need to go through all the schooling we did to choose the right diamond! We won’t give you a canned lecture, but will work to help educate and guide you in this important decision. We’re not uppity about terminology or reports, so you can feel comfortable asking whatever questions you might have. Even if you’re not sure you’re saying the “right thing,” we get it, we’re here to help translate. If you expect your jeweler to show their credentials on the wall and not do much else with it, you won’t find that here. We love being asked questions that help guide you to making a confident decision.
We’re Unconventional
Yes, it’s true. We are NOT your average jewelry store. If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter piece of jewelry, you might not find it here. We do have certain classic designs that never go out of style, but we have far more custom and one of a kind pieces in stock. With two jewelers on-site, jewelry designers on staff, and CAD/CAM capabilities, can you blame us? Sure, there is nothing wrong with designs that are popular and easy to replicate - there’s a reason why so many jewelry stores carry these items, after all! We just live by the philosophy that jewelry is a very personal thing, and it should be reflective of the person who wears it. We love helping clients design a piece from start to finish, or add their own special twist on a design that already exists. We like to play!
If you’re expecting a jewelry experience where the associates wear cotton gloves and you feel like you’re in maximum security, Sami Fine Jewelry might not be the place for you. We’re going to pet your dog, get excited, and want to show you the cool new design our jeweler just finished - and that’s just the beginning. Some days, we might be cleaning off a dog’s face just as easily as we could be cleaning jewelry, you never know. We are definitely not your conventional jewelry store. But, if you want to be greeted like family, shown some behind-the-scenes treats, and leave feeling both informed and pampered, we might just be a good fit for you.
